For those who have not heard about Alternative Events in the Real Estate Sector/PropTech World I thoroughly recommend you check it out or speak with Sarah (SK) and Steve) as this event is only going to get bigger.
We met SK through the UKPA at MIPIM Paris earlier this year. SK was chatting through her ambitious plans for the event and she has more than achieved what they set out to do.
On 4-5th November the second Alternative Real Estate & Property Technology Summit is taking place at Hanbury Manor Marriott, Hertfordshire.
This year there will be about 150 attendees at the event and they have a fantastic line-up of both speakers and attendees so far - the companies booked to attend to date include: LandSec, LGIM, British Land, Brockton Everlast, WeWork, Aberdeen Standard Investments, AXA-IM Real Assets, Great Portland Estates, Nuveen Real Estate, Grosvenor Group, Allsop, Avison Young, Knight Frank, JLL, Savills, CBRE, Arup, Carter Jonas, Atkins, Capita Real Estate, Arcadis, Mapp, Montagu Evans, Cushman & Wakefield, BNP Paribas, Ellandi, Derwent London and Countrywide.
It is the first of its kind, it a unique and powerful event for CIOs, CTOs, IT and technology directors in property and real estate consultancies who have the vision to innovate, collaborate and transform their businesses. It will also showcase the technologies that are innovating how property is transacted, managed and occupied.
There will be various influential speakers talking about key issues and trends. Another beauty of this event the five-star hotel, dinner and entertainment programme. But the whole reason for this upmarket and social affair over two day it that it is a chance to learn more about the market, develop business however it is also a chance to begin relationships in a social, less cooperate setting.
In this ever changing PropTech space, there should be know competition. The more communication we have between us the quicker we should be able to progress with this technology and integrate it. Whilst hoping to find some tech that actually works…
