We kicked off with a meeting with the lovely Brooke Bobe from Kansas who is Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships at TruFactor. Despite being based in Kansas TruFactor is based in the one and only Empire State building. TruFactor is another great example of how data is finally being used. Intelligence-as-a-Service sits at the intersection of mobile data, privacy, and AI. Built on a foundation of trust, compliance, and privacy, TruFactor ingests, filters, and processes over 100 TB of data daily via its patented anonymization platform.
We bumped into Nelson Lau from PropertyQuants again, who ran me through a quick demo of his business and within moments could tell me when to sell my house in Brixton. Apparently, I have 2 years before it plummets again…then I will have to wait till 2032 to sell.
Then it was time for a quick catch up with a fellow Brit in NYC, Isabel Osborne, who is heading up Flatfair’s US expansion, they are similarly preparing for soft launch. Whilst chatting with Isabel, James Duong from Spaceflow, who Heads up their Business Development in the US came over to introduce himself. Just showing how us European businesses are setting up our own little community in NYC.
Before we knew it, we were chatting to Steve Murfey from Coyote about their US expansion who introduced us to another member of the Cherre Team Brett, who we were showering with praise due to Cherre’s raise success!
Next to Coyotes stand was Equiem where we met the wonderful Co-founder Gabrielle McMillan, Chloe Weber, Richard and David. Despite most stands packing up they were still busy as ever and full of energy. We were chatting through similar pains with visa issues but equally sharing the excitement of global expansion. Chloe, Richard and David have worked in various countries with Equiem and demonstrates how PropTech really is becoming adopted globally.
Our finally meeting at CREtech was with Vanessa Anderson, Vice President Of Operations at Truss. Truss is a leading online marketplace to help small and medium sized business owners find, tour and lease space. Their tech-enabled platform allows people to find the right space for the best price in record time.
After this, it was back to our hotel to conduct our final interview for LMRE’s US manager then straight to the airport for a 11pm flight to only arrive Friday morning UK time and straight back to work.
It was a pleasure meeting everyone and looking forward to continuing conversations and am already looking forward to be back in NYC for Propmodo and MIPIM. 10-17th November.
