Serving as Business Development Representative, you will analyse primary markets, identify prospective clients and approach business opportunities across the country. Your main task is to maintain a high volume of opportunities in their pipe and to generate leads. A successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial doer that enjoys finding new business prospects and working in the early stages of the sales funnel . You will work closely with the Marketing and Sales functions.
Prospecting and lead generation – mainly via cold calling and emailing to companies in the construction industry
Analyse relevant companies and construction projects in order to ensure successful partnerships
Continuously build and maintain our pipeline, including CRM documentation
Online product demonstrations
Ownership of different relevant marketing campaigns
Generate sales opportunities to hand over to local BDM’s
Be the first point of contact for all inbound leads as well as qualifying these
Work together with the Marketing team to deliver business opportunities within our segments
Play a key role in the team and work toward their vision
You are not afraid of cold calling and high volume outbound lead generation
You are responsive, communicative, creative and passionate about your work
You are highly organised, structured and see documentation of daily activities as key to long term success
You are highly motivated with a real “can do” attitude - a self-starter
You are a team player who enjoys building long term relationships
You have excellent communications skills with the ability to express complex technical information in easy-to-understand terms in English.
