Our client is a growing team of 35 people based at the Monument. Our client is a software product that was launched to the commercial property market in 2017 and they have been dominating the expanding PropTech scene ever since!
They are looking for a Marketing Executive to join the team.
Supporting the marketing team, you’ll be helping to deliver the content strategy and overall marketing objectives through a variety of activities; broadly covering digital marketing and live events.
You’ll be fluid in your approach to daily task management and won’t be afraid to get stuck in.
They’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to learn on the job either. They will be working closely as a team, so you’ll have plenty of support - although during busy times of the year, you’ll need to demonstrate initiative.
You’ll be joining a marketing team of two and working alongside an in-house design team of two.
The majority of the company is made up of product teams, client services and the commercial team.
You’ll be involved in many aspects of digital marketing and live events, not limited to content creation, social media, marketing automation, SEM/SEO, event administration and organisation.
As a fast-growing company, this role (and its responsibilities) will evolve at pace over the next 12 months.
Our client would love to hear from people with experience in at least a couple of the following areas:
Content creation — they have regular content meetings and you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the ongoing conversations which help to shape all types of content they produce; web pages, product updates, thought leadership, news updates.
Social media — drafting and sharing company updates on Twitter and LinkedIn, based on a brief, monitoring streams for mentions and conversational opportunities, using lists to target key prospects/users/clients/influencers, and ultimately increase audiences/followers/shares.
Web & email production — creating web pages, landing pages, event registration pages using a combination of WordPress and HubSpot, plus marketing email creation and testing based on a collaborative brief.
SEM/SEO — working with tools like Moz to monitor organic rankings of search terms and drawing insight that will help to inform future content they produce.
Events — tradeshows and networking events in the UK, Europe and the US are a big part of the marketing efforts. You’ll be working on pre-show planning and administration, through to on-the-ground event coordination, and post-show tracking and follow-up.
CRM system management — working knowledge of HubSpot would be an advantage, but not essential. As long as you’ve used CRM systems to import/ export data, create lists, update and record properties, we’d love to hear from you.
To summarise, our client is looking for someone who’s hungry to learn and build upon an existing knowledge of broad digital marketing skills.
An eye for detail is essential in this role - whether that’s proofing an article before publication or checking the steps in a new automation process before it’s made live.
Working with a creative team, you’ll need to be confident enough to contribute and articulate your thoughts. Don’t worry though — you won’t be put under the spotlight and they’re pretty informal here.
They are not looking for someone who can tick every single box, but if you broadly match with the role they’ve described above and you’re looking for a challenge in the next step of your career, then we’d love to hear from you.
